Our impact extends beyond the protective and life-saving solutions we deliver to address health threats around the world.
We’re committed to being a responsible corporate citizen: contributing to the well-being of the communities we’re part of while continually working to evolve how our company operates.
As a mission-driven organization, I think volunteering is an important part of our culture at Emergent. When we can help people, we should.
— Liz Hanpeter, VP Global Government & Public Affairs

Charitable donation decisions made by Emergent are at its sole discretion. They are final and not subject to appeal.

- Infrastructural projects (such as facility expansion or repair)
- Memorial funds or crowdsourcing campaigns (such as GoFundMe)
- Professional or amateur sports events, teams or athletes
- Religious organizations (except for programs that are broadly promoted, available to anyone and free from religious orientation)
- Fraternal or labor organizations
- Special occasion goodwill advertising, including ad books, programs and yearbooks

- Donations made directly to an individual (e.g., HCPs or patients/consumers) in a position to prescribe or influence prescription, purchase or dispensing of an Emergent Product, or to organizations or institutions (e.g., physician’s practices) on behalf of, or in the name of, a specific individual in a position to prescribe or influence purchase, prescription or dispensing of an Emergent product
We prioritize these focus areas when evaluating giving opportunities:

Advancing public health
Improving the health and well-being of communities through areas that align with our industry and operational expertise.

Educating tomorrow’s scientific leaders
Supporting STEM programs that cultivate young scientists and broaden participation of underrepresented groups, all focused on inspiring tomorrow’s workforce.

Protecting those who protect us
Partnering with organizations committed to assisting military veterans and their families, as well as healthcare workers and first responders.
Environmental, Social and Governance

We do this because it is core to who we are.
